    MANAGING DIRECTOR

    Tracey is the proud owner and director of Pickering Motors. After taking over the business from her late father, she has expanded its services across the region while maintaining the strong local relationships that have long connected the company to the coastal community.

    You’ll find Tracey involved in every part of the business—from contract management, to driving local school routes, to returning to her mechanic roots to keep the fleet running smoothly.

    OFFICE MANAGER

    Linda keeps the daily operations at Pickering Motors running smoothly. As a valued member of the team, she brightens everyone's day with her warm and friendly manner. In addition to being a top-notch office manager, Linda is a dedicated mother, grandmother, wife—and a proud Christmas fanatic.

    RURAL DELIVERY

    Our rural delivery team for RD 31, 32, 34 and 35 have been part of the business for many years. When they’re not behind the wheel of a school bus for the morning and afternoon runs, you’ll find them out on the rural roads delivering mail and parcels. They know their routes like the back of their hand and take pride in keeping rural deliveries running smoothly each day.

    COURIER & POSTIES

    Our courier and postie team look after the daily deliveries throughout Ōpunakē and Manaia. You’ll spot them zipping around town on their bikes or in the courier van, making sure parcels and mail arrive safely and on time. No matter the weather or workload, they’re out there every day making sure your mail and parcels get where they need to go.

    CONNECTOR BUS DRIVERS

    Our three Connector drivers are the friendly faces helping keep Ōpunakē, Hāwera, and New Plymouth connected. You’ll see them out and about each day, safely getting people to work, school, WITT, hospital appointments, and around the region. With years of experience between them, they know the routes like the back of their hand and take pride in making every journey a smooth and welcoming one.

    Annetta & Kim

    SOUTHLINK BUS DRIVERS

    Annetta and Kim are the friendly faces behind our Southlink service, running Monday to Friday between Opunake and New Plymouth. You’ll see them out on the road each day, making sure passengers get to their destinations safely and comfortably. With years of experience between them, they take pride in keeping this important connection running smoothly for the community.

    MECHANIC

    Glen is our experienced mechanic and bus driver. Whether he’s keeping our fleet running smoothly or safely transporting school children, he takes pride in looking after both vehicles and passengers alike.
